We are now hiring a Senior System Software Engineer, with focus on Automotive Functional Safety and Security. This world-class engineer will join the GPU Resource Manager team. This position will be part of a dynamic crew that develops and maintains systems software for complex heterogeneous computing systems that power disruptive automotive products. Our offerings to the automotive industry begin with navigation and infotainment systems, back seat entertainment systems, instrument clusters and expand into the exciting field of autonomous computing, deep neural networks and self-driving cars. The Resource Manager team plays a vital role in realizing the vision behind these products by building core technologies and platform solutions that are not only competitive,but industry-first.

Job Description

What You'll Be Doing
You will be working on Architecture and development work on NVIDIA SOC and GPU hardware
You will focus on GPU Resource Manager stack software architecture and design
You will get to drive implementation activities, participate in development and guide other engineers
You will perform all work in accordance with safety and security standard (ISO26262, J3061, EA/CC)
Collaborate with program and safety process team to align requirements, design and development schedules
You will need to gain proficiency in one of the technology areas and be able to support design of those components for upcoming chips.

What We Need To See
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer/Electronics engineering or related field
6+ years of relevant experience
Excellent C programming skills
Deep understanding of embedded systems architecture: CPU, memory, buses and interconnects, Operating Systems and device drivers
Experience with designing software for complex, high performance hardware acceleration engines
Experience with designing and development software in accordance with functional safety and cybersecurity standards: ISO26262, J3061, EAL/CC
Excellent communication skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Knowledge of Assembly language
C++ programming skills
Experience with commercial RTOS systems (QNX, Green Hills INTEGRITY)
Experience with architecture/design tools (IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
