Lenovo is seeking for Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality Business Development Manager, ensures that internal sales and Business Partner have the most current technical sales skills and resources to engage with customers to provide solutions to address their Augmented and Virtual reality requirements.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with qualifying leads from a technical standpoint.
  • Be the main technical resource on sales calls and the go-to for technical concerns from our customers regarding our product and platform.
  • Target, develop and manage long-term client relationships/partnerships with executive "C" level decision makers.
  • Provide technical response to RFx's, bids and proposals.
  • Fully understand Lenovo's AR and VR products and platform.
  • Proactively follow-up and close open issues with customers.
  • Distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales.
  • Technical quote generation and management during the sales lifecycle.
  • Craft technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases or standard methodologies for new technologies.
  • Serves as a Technical Subject Matter Expert for Sales Learning & Development with a focus on Augmented and Virtual Reality solutions for commercial customers.
  • Functions as an AR/VR Enterprise Solutions Subject Matter Expert in the creation of innovative learning programs targeted at the Lenovo's Sales Organizations dispersed globally.
  • Leads global collaboration efforts in the design, development and delivery of strategic learning offerings to support Lenovo AR/VR strategic initiatives
  • Leads/participates in the ongoing training needs analysis to define training requirements; recommends appropriate training solutions leads/participates in the design, development, and delivery of training programs.
  • Serves as a liaison to Product and Marketing Teams to understand Lenovo AR/VR product offerings and related sales strategies from technical specs to value proposition to go to market strategies
  • Regularly collaborates and partners with Sales, Marketing and Product Executives.
  • May be asked to project manage various training development and delivery activities.
  • Leverages team resources, capabilities, tools, systems, and expertise as well as those of other Lenovo training organizations to address defined business training needs

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in Electrical/Computer/Networking Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Sciences, or other related field) OR equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in technical roles, preferably in computing and networking arenas.
  • Broad knowledge of Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and networking technologies is required.
  • Considered an expert in knowledge of Cloud/Virtualization and familiar with standard service offerings.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of corporate training experience, preferably in the design, development and delivery of sales training.
  • Must be able to effectively work with a range of stakeholders including executives, other subject matter experts, as well as instructional designers and multimedia developers.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Results driven, team player.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Technical support, pre-sales support, installation or sales experience in the technology industry is preferred.
  • Must be able to effectively balance strong technical skills with solid relationship-building capabilities.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have the ability to drive for results and a passion to win.
  • Must have the desire to collaborate, build, strong, influential relationships, and effectively influence decisions.
