The Technology team at our GSCs service all Lines of Business and Enterprise Technology in helping build and operate innovative industry leading solutions. The breadth of capabilities within the Technology team at the GSC enables it to support the firm in leading edge areas such as Digital, Big data analytics, Robotics & Machine Learning.
Roles & Responsibility:
The 3PDP (Third Party Derivatives Processing) team member is responsible for the development of Trade capture, Fund Accounting, Reporting, Valuation components for the 3PDP suite of applications. This is a very large scale and complex set of Straight through processing components linked by messaging in a distributed, object-oriented, web-based environment.
Application design & development in support of the on-going application build out.
Code analysis and problem ownership to resolution.
Provides design recommendations, developing and integrating programs per written specifications
Conduct design and code review to ensure the application adheres to the firm standards.
Develops and tests software application modules using disciplined software development processes.
Support for User Acceptance Testing phases, by working with the Central Testing Group and 3PDP Test team to identify, fix and deliver controlled changes into our test environments.
Participate in Agile ceremonies Daily scrum, sprint planning, and sprint retrospective.

Candidate should have 5 to 7+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java /JEE along with strong analytical and design skills. Candidate should be flexible to learn new technologies and should build good understanding of the financial domain.
Experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting.

Junit, Exposure to integration/automated testing frameworks (Fitnesse, Cucumber etc.)
