Morgan Stanley is seeking a Tableau Developer-Rapid Data Analytics who is expertise in developing visualizations to aid understanding of structured and unstructured data (E.g., Tableau, DataIKU).

Job Description

Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Science or Engineering
  • Proven foundation in core Computers Science competencies such as data structures, algorithms, and software architecture
  • Proven consultative skills, working with business users to document requirements, design and implement solutions
  • Proven expertise in developing visualizations to aid understanding of structured and unstructured data (E.g., Tableau, DataIKU)
  • Proven expertise assembling, scrubbing and manipulating large data sets;  Self-sufficient in SQL, Python and an expert Excel user
  • Creative problem solver with a high level of learning agility and initiative
  • Strong business analysis and project management skills (planning and scheduling, scope management, issue resolution, contingency planning, stakeholder communications)

Knowledge
  • Financial services experience strongly preferred; a keen interest to understand the products, business model, and regulatory framework may be a substitute
  • Familiarity with financial services compliance data (e.g., trading lifecycle, financial products, market data, accounts, regulations, issues, risks & controls)

  • Ability to anticipate ahead of time and escalate issues as appropriate

  • Possess the ability to research and resolve issues independently
  • Experience in stakeholder management with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across regions and Business Units
  • Have the ability to effectively handle a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify and recommend process efficiencies
  • Leadership experience (ideally with experience of hiring and managing a team)
