- Identify and refine project requirements, solutions to potentially abstract AI challenges, and well-defined performance metrics
- Design and develop software as scalable architectures, components, API's and systems
- Translate project requirements into executable roadmaps for creating and measuring technical capability
- Work in high intensity, joint teams of software engineers and research scientists
- Apply expert software engineering skills to design and build cutting edge AI systems
- Will have to manage a team of high performing resource ranging from freshers all the way up to experienced resources at Manager/Assistant Director levels
- Will be responsible for supervision and growth of AI & Advanced Analytics Practice
- Four years of experience in coding and debugging in one or more general purpose programming languages including, but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python
- Four years of experience in software development involving modern DevOps technology and methodologies, including but not limited to: agile development, continuous integration pipelines, test-driven development, container technology, microservice oriented architectures
- Proven experience in translating project requirements into robust software components and architecture
- Experience in developing cloud-based systems
- Preferable expertise in one or more areas like - unstructured data, IOT, mobile, Cloud, open source technologies, emerging technologies and techniques

You will interact with multiple teams within and outside GDS on AI and will help bring AI research ideas into scalable, robust systems. You will be working as part of GDS Automation Central- New Solutions team and in this role you will also be responsible for evaluating, testing and incubating new solutions leveraging AI/ML for EY. As an AI leader you will be responsible for efficiently leading and managing a team of highly technical resources.

Education:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Quants field.
Experience:
None. Masters/Doctorate in quants fields is desirable.
