PayPal is looking for Senior Software Engineer at Chennai having good experience in design and development of RESTful APIs and reactive stream based systems in Java/Scala. Also have hands-on knowledge of version control systems such as GIT.Job Description
Required Skills
- BS degree, preferably in a Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of working experience in software development.
- A deep familiarity with Java and Spring framework.
- Good experience in design and development of RESTful APIs.
- Good experience in design and development of Daemons and Batch systems.
- Good experience in design and development of reactive stream based systems in Java/Scala.
- Good knowledge of Big data technologies including ES and Hadoop. Experience would be a plus.
- Solid understanding of the full development life cycle.
- Passion for designing and engineering highly scalable software systems.
- Disciplined approach to testing, quality assurance, continuous integration and DevOps processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of version control systems such as GIT.
- Ability to think logically, diagnose/triage and fix complex problems in live components.
