Mckinsey is seeking for Senior Data Scientist who has good experience with R or Python and background in programming in C, C++ and Java is beneficial. Also have decent written and verbal communication skills along with strong desire to work in cross-functional teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities and Educational Qualifications:
  • MS/PhD in computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, ops research or related technical discipline.
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, optimization or related field.
  • Experience working with large data sets, simulation/optimization and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, Arena, etc.).
  • Professional attitude and service orientation; superb team player.
  • Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace.
  • 4+ years experience in a statistical and/or data science role.
  • Experience with R or Python is required. Background in programming in C, C++, Java is beneficial.
  • Experience working in startup environment or organizations with an agile culture.
  • Decent written and verbal communication skills along with strong desire to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced startup like environment.
