Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Cloud (Azure) System Administrator
We are looking for a cloud administrator who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.
Proactively maintain and develop all cloud infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hotfixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
Should have an understanding of CI/CD methodologies with DevOps fundamentals
Experience in the following technologies
Experienced in Designing and deployment of Azure-based cloud solutions.
Experienced in the ARM template, Powershell, Jason, Terraform scripting
Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant Infrastructure in Azure
Server sizing and Migrating an existing on-premises application to Azure.
Experienced in security control and infrastructure compliance
Identifying appropriate use of Azure operational best practices
Estimating Azure usage costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
Experience implementing solutions in Azure for implementing data pipelines, computation, and building services for retrieving and storing data
Experience with the following resources/services is highly preferred ‚?? Azure AD, ARM based deployment, VMSS, Storage Account, Azure site recovery, Automation accounts/OMS, vNET
Experience in multiple cloud services including Azure Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, StorSimple, Azure DNS, Virtual Network, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, AKS
Troubleshooting any issues with VMs (OS, CPU and Memory)
Experience in SAAS based monitoring solutions like Newrelic and Security Solutions like TrendMicro.
Good Understanding of Networking Concepts.
Good understanding of Linux & Windows administration skills will be preferred
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware & HyperV will be preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work on project teams, with stakeholders, and across departments.
Capable of working with minimal guidance/oversight
Being an agent for change, and assisting with developing organizational processes
Good understanding of CI and CD methodologies.
Good understanding of Dockers and Kubernetes
